Fall & Winter Crops - 2011/2012

Alright, I've finally planted out both of the raised beds in the front yard.  Here's what we've planted and are hoping to harvest throughout the winter and into next spring.

4X5 bed.  In order of rows sown, back to front, succession plantings sown early August through early October.

It doesn't look like much, but there's a whole lot of hope planted in this bed!

I've also planted some mixed lettuce, spinach and kale in one of our ground level beds as an experiment.  I really just want to see how they do without any cover.  Time will tell.

Have you planted your fall garden?  What have you sown?  Have I forgotten anything?

  1. Gosh, you are so organised!!
I'm getting my tomato, eggplant and capsicum seedlings ready for planting. I'm harvesting the last of my winter broccoli and peas tonight for dinner!
