While spending some time last weekend with a friend and her 6 year old, we stopped for beverages and my friend purchased this kid sized chocolate milk. Nothing weird about that, right?
Well, it wasn't the milk that concerned me. It was the nice disclaimer on the bottom that concerned me. Does this mean that, if your milk does not say it was not produced by cloned cows, that it was produced by cloned cows?!?!
Really? Are we doing this now??? Am I just completely out of the loop? Wow.
Horrifying isn't it?! Tampering with the sacred doesn't end there: some scientists in Argentina created the first transgenic cow that will produce human breast milk. *sigh* what a mess.

ReplyDeletePilar - REALLY? GROSS!!!
Oh my goodness!!! Too often I find myself paraphrasing the Jurasic Park quote in saying that we've spent so much time wondering if we could do something we haven't bothered to stop and think if we SHOULD!!! I mean, really, why the heck would we need a cow to produce human milk!!! Gross!!!
