Spring weekends are the best weekends. Really. Last weekend, in addition to spending time with friends, cooking and relaxing on the couch for a bit, we also got a lot done in the garden! I up-potted a bunch of tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, luffa, broccoli, cabbage, tomatillos and pac choy while Tool Lady worked on our drip in the front yard. I also admired and inspected our flowering fruit trees and the beautiful greens of our strawberries and rhubarb while Tool Lady amended and fertilized our beds in the front yard. Crazy bugs were found, bird feeders were filled, the grass was raked and the mint was mulched.
Everything was done in the front because the back yard was like a wind tunnel. No kidding :-) Hopefully the winds will die down a bit before next weekend so we can get some work done back there, too!
What projects are you busy with this spring?
xoxo,
M
