Harvest Monday

Happy Monday, everyone!

Well, I haven't closed the hoop houses all week, but from what I understand, the weather is supposed to turn today ad we just might get some snow.  I'll believe it when I see it, but I'm really not surprised.

In some potentially exciting news, we just may have figured out what to do with the backyard!  Well, at least part of it.  And, if it all turns out like we're thinking it will, we'll add a little over 100 square feet of growing space! Yeah...this could be super exciting...stay tuned :-)

This weeks totals:
  • Lettuce = 2 ounces
  • Chard = 2 ounces
  • Spinach = 3 ounces
  • Kale =  6 ounces
  • Eggs = 34

Happy harvesting!

  2. Expansion - awesome! I'm still realing from mine. I thought I'd be worrying over what to do wtih it, instead I am fighting with myself because I know what NEEDS planted there for amendments, but my heart says I WANT to plant other things there. LOL.

  4. Expansion? I'm always looking for more room to grow things! You can do a lot in 100sqft for sure.
