Handmade Pay It Forward is an idea that has been floating around facebook for a while, but now Allison has decided to bring it into Blog Land. This is very exciting for me, because I am hopeful that together, us bloggers we can bring some excitement to what we're making/giving as well as what we're receiving! The energy of being excited about this project is what seemed to be lacking in the facebook version of this idea, and I am speaking in the first person here, because I slacked on it. Full disclosure: I have completed 4 out of 5 of the fb 2011 version...Kevin, if you're reading this, I'm working on yours and I promise that you will get it!
Alright, past experiences aside...let's do it right this year!
Handmade Pay It Forward 2012 means that I promise to make
something for the first five people who comment on this post!
If you are one of the first five to comment, then you must, in turn, post this on your blog and make something handmade for the first five people who comment on your post. Your item must be handmade by you and your recipient must receive their gift before the end of 2012. Your item can be as complicated or as simple as you feel comfortable creating (a cup of tea works, as does a full blown handmade item). You just have to promise to follow through.
