Harvest Monday

Happy Monday everyone!

I am definitely missing the days of mass harvests and great diversity...they seem so far away, but really, they were only a few weeks ago!  Crazy!  However, I AM grateful to be be pulling in some yumminess from the garden and am definitely looking forward to the days of harvesting winter veggies!  Anyhow, here's what we have now...more of our garage ripened tomatoes, a little bit of kale and a few shallots  :-)

This weeks totals:

Tomatoes = 5 pounds 8 ounces
Kale = 4 ounces
Shallots = 8 ounces

TOTAL OF 6 pounds 4 ounces this week!!!

Harvest Monday is hosted by Daphne at daphnesdandelions.  Check out what she's harvesting, as well as what many, many others are harvesting!

HAPPY HARVESTING!!!

  1. I did not realize you were in Sante Fe. We were just there last month, on our way to Durango. Sante Fe is lovely, but I am thinking that gardening is pretty challenging there.

    I love that table of tomatoes!

  2. That's a great harvest for this time of year at all. You'll be harvesting from the garage for weeks!

  3. The top picture looks like my harvests - a bit of green, nice but not too exciting (unless of course you love Kale) and then I look down and see all those beautiful tomatoes and I want it to be January when I too will be drowning in a sea of yellow and red (actually I haven't planted enough for that but a few for salads would be nice....)

  4. Am equally envious of your tomatoes — like a gorgeous mosaic! We've begun to work our way through our Italian hanging ones, and reaching into the canned and frozen ones in storage...

  5. Villager - Yes! I'm in Santa Fe! Next time you're coming through you should stop for a cup of coffee/tea/whatever! It is a bit difficult to grow here...drought, high altitude, short growing season...but we're learning as we go :-)

    Jody - Thanks! My hope is to have a few tomatoes to "harvest" from the garage for Thanksgiving...but they're ripening so quickly, not sure they'll wait another several weeks!

    Liz - It will be here before you know it! I just love the promise of veggies...the planning and planting and patience!

    Leduesorelle - Thank you! And welcome!!! Thanks for stopping by :-)
