Amber Magic

Our bees have been very busy bees!  Flying and building and scouting and protecting and creating!  All this work in the hot sun can make a bee thirsty!



It will be a while before our bees create enough honey for us to share in their magic, so the pic below is not our honey or our comb from our new bees.  This honey was given to us by a co-worker and fellow bee keeper in exchange for lending her one of our bee veils so she could inspect her hives with a friend.


This is spring honey (duh), so it's pretty mellow, but oh man, is it good!!!  There really is nothing like super fresh honey!  It really is like magic wrapped in an amber package!  And, yes, I really am a big nerd ;-)
