Long Weekend, Short Trip












On Thursday evening, Tool Lady and I headed north to visit with a very good friend and her family for a few days.  It's amazing how many wonderful moments can be shared and captured in such a short period of time!
  1. The road to Westminster, CO 
  2. The Lego Tray Tool Lady made for the now five year old Birthday Boy 
  3. Inspiration found in a new-to-me Granny Square pattern
  4. Cuddle time with a dog named Q who used to just bark and bark and bark at me
  5. Hand holding with a sweet, beautiful and super smart 11 month old
  6. Delicious lunch and amazing chai from The Huckleberry, a new favorite restaurant
  7. Pizza and chocolate cake to celebrate the Birthday Boy
  8. A few precious moments shared in a (chilly) sun spot at the park
  9. The road home and the beautiful CO mountains
  10. Coming home to find Apricot blossoms and the promise of spring
