From the looks of it, all you have to do is take an old chair, cut a hole in the seat of it and attach a hanging basket to the underside (they used nails and then bent them to secure the basket to the underside of the chair). Super simple, amazingly cute, perfectly functional!
So, last weekend I decided it was time to up-pot one of my Roma Tomatoes. It was the first tomato I started this year under the grow lights (January 21st, I know, super early) and it's already starting to flower out! So, with the weather being so tempting, I plopped it into my Planter Chair!
I can't wait to see how this beauty will look when it's heavy with its beautiful red fruit!
I did the same thing with a chair I pulled out of the trash! I posted it a while back, come check it out!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful way to "re-purpose" chairs - thanks for sharing it!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! It made for a great gift :-) I'm excited to see how big my tomato will get in there!
DeleteI love this! We have a chair just like this...but it's used more for a camping-bathroom. :)
ReplyDeleteHa! Yes, it's perfect for that, too ;-)
